OREGON!!!! (AKA longest post ever)
So Rusty, Avey and I had a BLAST in Oregon. It's always fun to go home. We did quite a bit this last week, so I'll just explain the pictures as I go along.
First...I have the tightest brothers in the whole world. Can you say Molotov Cocktails?? We waited til about midnight, snuck out of the house, put the car in neutral and pushed it out of the driveway, drove to a deserted road and lit that place up. Here's the preparations...
The finished product...yes those are Crush bottles
Let the fun begin...
Success!!! Well, except for that rolling bottle that didn't explode that Cody is chasing
Cole...the man of flames
Avey actually started laughing on this trip! Real laughs! This was just after she got done laughing at Uncle Reed and Aunt Paige jumping on the tramp...but who wouldn't think Paige on a trampoline is funny?
Avey also went swimming for the first time and LOVED it!

So, for our anniversary Rusty and I left Avey in Redmond with my mom (which was extremely hard for me) and went over to the coast for a night. The pictures of the trip are in reverse order, so this is us getting ready to head home.
My dad let us take his truck and 4-wheelers over and boy was it fun! Here's Rusty doing one of his less impressive tricks...come on Rusty, step it up
4-Wheeling on the beach is the best thing ever! We had beautiful weather...65 and sunny!

Here's our bed and breakfast we stayed at. You can see Heceta lighthouse to the left and the bed and breakfast is in the old lightkeepers house on the right.
We drove up to Newport, OR for dinner. It was called Port Dock One and it was yummy!
This is Rusty making an Avey face
This is the dock just outside the restaurant, that's the Newport bridge in the background
We took this picture because we went into a candy shop in old town Newport and bought some salt water taffy, which was delicious but $5.99 a pound. The total came to $4 and change and Rusty gave the lady a $20 and she gave us back 32 cents....uh, right. So Rusty told her that he gave her a $20 and she wouldn't believe him. She said the only thing we could do was write down our name and phone number and if the till was off at the end of the night we could go back the next morning and pick up our $15. Wrongo! So we finally talked her into calling the manager down to count the till and whatta know, there was our money. We should have known better though...this is the same lady that told us she couldn't recommend a good place for dinner cause she always gets too wasted to remember what she ate...classy
