Cruise Day 4: Cabo Again

Wednesday was another day in Cabo. First thing we did was stop and get some gelato at a place we spotted on Tuesday. It was a great way to start the day...especially since it was already 90 degrees outside.
We wanted to go snorkeling but the excursions offered through the cruise line were ridiculously expensive and we knew we could haggle once we were in town. We walked around the board walk listening to all the vendors yell "activities!" "water taxi!" "Marijuana! It's good for your health!" (all in a hispanic accent). We finally decided on this place and haggled with them a bit. They agreed to let us use their snorkeling gear, give us a boat tour of the bay, the arch, etc and then take us to lover's beach to snorkel and pick us up whenever we were ready. This is Pancho. He was our tour guide and boat driver. He was hilarious. He was missing quite a few teeth and when he stopped to let us look at the tropical fish he threw a piece of bread tied to some fishing line over the side of his boat, snagged a fish, whipped it into the boat and said (in very broken english) "my lunch."

Rusty was taking some pictures of the people and scenery at Lover's Beach and this man here kept yelling to Rusty to take a picture of him. He kept saying "I look great for your calendar." Pal, you would look great indeed.
We did some exploring around Lover's Beach and found this cave. Pancho said it is the lover's beach cave where you "entran de dos, salen de tres" or in other words "enter as two, exit as three..." if you catch my drift. It was beautiful.

On our way back to the dock Pancho's boat broke down and would only go in reverse, so he called on his walkie-talkie for his friend Leo to come pick us all up. They were amazing guys.
We wandered into town again to find lunch, although I would have really liked to follow Pancho back to his place and watch him do his handy work with that fish he caught.

After lunch we perused the flea market you see across the street.

After dinner we did some line dancing on the deck of the ship.

By the end of the nigh we were exhuasted and everything was funny...and I mean EVERYTHING. Even posing by our room numbers...don't ask.
